This is a great app - the pronunciation is clear and helpful, and the whole app is laid out in an easy way to navigate. The list of words is huge! Many are very hard to pronounce on my own, and now its easy thanks to Bible Audio Pronunciations!

It does not work! Do not pay for this app -- it has no audio and no pronunciation help.

I just noticed another(!) update (of over 400 names) added today. This review is long-overdue, as Ive been so appreciative of this developer for some time now, since I purchased this App. Hes constantly listening to users suggestions at improvement & is just doing great work in a why-hasnt-anyone-else-thought-of-this? type of need in the Body. What a satisfyingly "witty invention" this is. I take great joy in owning this resourceful gem :-). Along with the (YouVersion[--free w nearly every translation!]) Bible & the Gateway Apps, this treasure belongs on your phone if youre reading this. Keep up the great work...! - Eric M Glendale, AZ

Good app. Suggestion: include ability to add words to a Favorites list to simply practice all words from a single reading easily.

This app is what makes my iPad effective. I can have my iPad in the sacristy and lay readers can use this app to quickly check pronunciations. This makes for a calmer morning and a better worship experience for everyone. This is much easier than trying to decipher paper pronunciation guides and much more fun.

They shouldve gotten native Hebrew speakers to correctly say the words, but instead its all English pronunciations! If i wanted to hear it in English, i wouldve just recorded myself saying the words!!! Booooo!!!

I was looking for this very app and found it. It was exactly what I was needing. If you need to know how to pronounce all those names you usually just mumble over in the Bible, this is a great app. It does not have every word yet, but based on the update history, they are updating it regularly with lots of new words. Thanks!

I PAID FOR THIS APPLICATION AND IT DID NOT EVEN DOWNLOAD TO MY IPOD OR IPAD, I EITHER WANT A REFUND OR WANT YOU TO FIX THIS APPLICATION TO WHERE IT WILL WORK!!!! Michael!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are creating 730 videos for the Daily Video Bible online. Without your help and guidance and clear voice I wouldnt be able to complete this project. I just finished recording Genesis 36 and afterwards thanked God again for you and creating this app! Its amazing how many of these names and places we just gloss over when we are reading the Bible in our heads! Thank you again so much. I cant imgaine how much work this app must be for you, but I for one truly appreciate it. You are helping others do Gods work - and that is awesome!

I recently realized my studies were hampered by my inability to pronounce Biblical names. Then I wondered...is there an app for that? And YES, here it is, and I am JAZZED! I am hearing impaired and with my hearing aids in its plenty loud enough! Thank you so much!

This is a really good app. There are a few names missing (like Phicol in Gen 21:22, 32, etc.), but overall, there is very good coverage of names. You wont be disappointed. I would like to see an edition or an update that covers biblical place names and an ability to search by verse. In other words, if I put in a verse, it will give me a list of all names in that verse so that I dont have to scroll through them all individually. But this is a great and very useful app.

The audio works great. Make sure the volume is turned up AND that the mute switch is turned off. If the switch above the volume shows red or orange, the mute is on and you will not hear audio. This app is just what I needed. It contains clear audio recordings of every hard-to-pronounce word in the Bible, which for me is most of the Bible. The app is very easy to use and is an invaluable resource in my Bible study.

Great app to have to help with your Bible study & pronouncing the words correctly!! Does not pronounce Yahweh correctly! Please fix this error so that others will be able to pronounce it correctly!! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Thank-You so much for your understanding of this matter.

I have an iPhone 4 running the latest iOS and the sound doesnt work. Isnt that the purpose of the app? I do not recommend this app unless there is a fix soon. Not worth purchasing. Correction: Sound only works when the phones ringer is not muted or on vibrate. Other than this its a really good app.

I dont understand. I had heard from the developers before Christmas that soon this app would be optimized for iPhone 5 and be updated to include all of the Biblical pronunciations. What has happened?

I love this app! It really helps to hear how names and places are pronounced in Gods word. However, for some reason Im no longer able to hear the pronunciations. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!!

Tried the Lite App for 10 seconds, was amazed, deleted it, and bought the non Lite App :) WOW! This App is OFF THE HOOK :) Amazing!

Have been using for some time and it is incredible resource and "helper" in feeling more confident on how to pronounce all the names/laces I used to mumble thru! But, today, no sound. Made sure phone NOT on mute and volume turned up all the way, still no sound. Is there a fix for this?
